Who will do the delivery if it needs to be assisted?

Depends: Every hospital and practice have their own system. Some hospitals have doctors have physician assistants who help with surgery. Other hospitals have arrangements whereby a doctor from each practice is assigned a day where they help everyone else.

Ask provider: Depending on the dr. Or mid wife, they may use residents, colleagues, nurse assistants etc to help assist in the delivery. Best wishes to you.
