Depends: That is a decision that would need to be made in the moment. Many women can deliver vaginally with no problem from the occiput posterior position. If the baby can not be delivered with pushing then options of forceps, vacuum and c section should be considered. The size of the baby, the shape of the pelvis, the position of head and the experience of the doctor are all important considerations
