Bile duct cancer: Cholangiocarcinoma arises from bile ducts. When it arises from small ducts in the liver and presents as a liver mass it's called intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma. When it starts near where the main bile duct starts branching into the liver it's called hilar cholangiocarcinoma or klatskin tumor. Those starting near where the duct enters into the intestine are called distal cholangiocarcinoma.
