Multiple effects: Phtn is a progressive disease that affects the blood vessels of the lungs causing them to become narrow. Over time, the right side of the heart starts failing causing dyspnea, fatigue, edema, fluid retention, passing out spells and can even cause death. If you or a relative has this disease, you should be seen by a phtn specialist.
