Do you know anything about heart palpitations and the use of flovent hfa or ventolin hfa?

Possibly related: These medications for asthma are used to dilate the airways. The can also, especially if used in higher doses, trigger palpitations in susceptible persons. The pathways that dilate the bronchial openings (known as beta pathways) can also act to excite the heart.

Possibly: Metered dose inhalers often have in them medications that open the airways in patients with bronchospasm, like asthma or copd. But an adverse effect of these meds may include heart stimulation, including rapid or irregular heart rhythms that may be perceived as "palpitations".
