Mostly yes but: Depends on whether the candy has anything in it that might be toxic to baby. Most are not but i recall a few that have significant amounts of caffeine in them & any excess could bother baby.Consumption near the time of birth could cause an excessively jittery of fussy baby. Sugar by itself can lead to blood sugar problems in some moms & effect the baby in return.
