For mild high BP: Diet (no added salt, and cut back on processed foods, eating more fresh produce, fish, lean meats), regular exercise (doesn't have to be intense, duration is more important than intensity) , and weight loss (see the first two, add to them weight training three days a week) all reduce blood pressure over the long haul.
