Good for groups : For individuals may be good but you can have high HDL due to alcohol or other medications or elevated total cholesterol- unclear if this is good or not.

CBC completed on 1/8. Mildly elevated ALT of 52 (range of 9-46). Bilirubin of 1.4 (range 0.2-1.2). Cholesterol is 229, LDL 152 and Non HDL of 178. Does LFTs seem to correlate to diet related? Diet has been poor the last 6-8 months?

Total cholesterol usually around 240. HDL the most elevated but LDL also raised. I eat healthy and I am an athlete. Cardiologist says not to worry. With strict diet I lowered it to 190 but it was not a viable diet. Is it dangerous to eat normally ?
