Heavy weightlifting: In general, exercise in pregnancy is not only safe, but offers health benefits. We suggest avoiding oxygen-depriving exercises like heavy weightlifting or marathon running. Two great rules of thumb while working out: keep your pulse rate under 140 or maintain the ability to converse with your exercise partner!
