You : You need thyroid hormone. Is there a reason you cannot get your meds? Repeatedly missed appointments or unpaid bills for service provided or something else? I suggest you discuss this with your prescribing doctor. Otherwise you will need to establish with another doctor to have your meds filled. Generic levothyroxine costs less if money is a concern. In any case, you need a prescription levothyroxine filled. Having no thyroid hormone is life threatening and there is no other treatment besides thyroid hormone. Good luck.
