I have a herniated disc at l-5 s-1 with an annular fissure sacroillitis in both si joints and coccyx pain. i have had this pain for over a year have had a surgery to remove a pillion ideal cyst which wasn't there.have had 3 injections including a coccygea

These : These can be difficult problems to fix and often poorly respond to treatment including surgery. Patients that have failed conservative treatment you may consider the following options: 1. L5-s1 disk with annular tissue - recommend discogram to determine if this is the cause of the pain followed by either endoscopic discectomy or fusion surgery. Please see my health guides on endoscopic disk surgery. 2. Si joint pain - consideration for si joint fusion. 3.Coccyx pain - if pain is related to prior fracture sometimes surgical removal of the coccyx may give pain relief i would recommend seeing spine surgeon.
