There : There are many ways to whiten teeth. Use of tooth whitening toothpaste that contain a higher level of abrasives and some bleaching compounds than regular toothpaste can be done at home. When used properly are safe but they may not remove all the stains. For that you should rely on you dental hygienist. Abrasives do slowly remove some of the outer enamel on the tooth. If done too aggressively or frequently it can leave you with yellowing of the teeth due to exposure of the underlying supportive material which is yellow in color. You may also supplement your care with home whitening kits. If used carefully they can provide a more appealing result. Always follow the directions on the packaging for the ultimate whitening you will have to rely on a dentist delivered in office whitening procedure. Tooth whitening / bleaching materials involves the use of chemicals to remove stains. The stronger materials are relegated to in office use due to a greater potential for harm if not applied properly. You are correct in your statement that bleaching can make the teeth sensitive, but this usually goes away in a few days.

I : I recommend a dentist supervised tooth whitening system to safely whiten your teeth. This includes either in-office systems and/or at-home tray based methods. Tooth whitening systems managed by a dentist will not cause damage to tooth enamel.

Many : Many people whiten their teeth without sensitivity, however if your gums have receded or you have chips or multiple fillings you could end up with some sensitivity. This sensitivity is not permanent. Also, depending on your age, you may have more or less sensitivity. Tooth whitening, done properly, will not harm your teeth. If you are concerned about sensitivity, ask your dentist for ultradent tres white trays which I use on teens and young adults to limit sensitivity.

First : First of all, you should understand that any withering system available in the market does not damage your teeth. Temporary (to a maximum of 10 to 12 hours) sensibility may occur, if you are a person that commonly suffer from sensitive teeth, you the may be a candidate to have your teeth bleached with a professional take home kit dispensed by your dentist, this system will allow you to control the exposure time to the product, and still have your teeth whitened. I hope this information helped you take the right decision to have white teeth forever....... Good luck.
