Depends: What is it damaged from? If theres decay, you need restorative work. If its staining, then whiten with hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide. If theres broken teeth, reconstruction may be necessary. Best get an evaluation done to determine the cause. Then treatment can be recommended.

See a dentist: A dentist can determine why your tooth is damaged and how to get it whiter and looking better.

Enamel defect: Treatment may involve spot tooth whitening, microabrasion, composite bonding to more extensive treatment such as a laminate or full composite crown. See a dentist to determine how deep the defect is and discuss your treatment options.
