My left arm falls asleep when i sleep on my right side. could this be spondylosis? everytime i fall asleep on my right side, my left arm falls asleep and becomes numb. my nuerologist says this is due to a compressed nerve. could i have spodylosis?

Depending on what part of your arm goes numb you may be mechanically compressing the ulnar nerve at the elbow or the median and ulnar nerves as they enter the upper arm from under the pectoralis minor muscle. Most people who sleep on their sides bring the opposite arm across the chest compressing the nerves. If it is the ulnar nerve at the elbow, the pinky and ring fingers will go numb. Pectoralis compression can make the whole hand go numb. This is unlikely to be related to spondylosis.
