Studies : Studies have shown that there are a variety of toxins in marijuana. It can vary with the type of marijuna used. Marijuana could be associated with your bronchitis. At least one short term study has shown a relaxing effect of marijuana on the airways.

You can't 'catch': Bronchitis. It usually is viral, and smoking can certainly predispose to it, more so with tobacco, but heavy cannabis use can do it as well. People with underlying lung problems are particularly susceptible, and you don't say whether you also smoke cigarettes. Some physician gave you a medical card, and you should return to them for an evaluation, and stop or cut back on marijuana until then.
