A doctor has provided 1 answer

You : You are likely perimenopuasal (close to menopause). During this time your cycle can change dramatically. Your cycle han be heavier, lighter, longer or shorter. Otherwise, if the bleeding becomes unusually heavy, things like uterine fibroids (benign tumors of the uterus) may be to blame. You should inform your doctor of these changes at your next visit or sooner if necessary. Take care.
