Tinnitus : Tinnitus is usually rather recalcitrant to treatment. If it is loud, it can make it hard to hear and prevent sound sleep. Chinese scalp acupuncture can be used to treat tinnitus. However, like most approaches to tinnitus the effects are usually not dramatic. Take care.

There : There are many ways of treating tinnitis that include medications (with different potential side effects depending on the drug chosen), tinnitis maskers, biofeedback, etc. Prior to recommending treatment you would want to discuss this with an ENT to first determine the cause of the tinnitis and obtain at the very least an audiogram. Depending on the pattern of the hearing loss, if present ( high frequency losses often associated with tinnitis), you may even require an MRI to rule out something more significant such as a space-occupying growth around the hearing nerve. If nothing significant is found, i often start symptomatic management with arches tinnitis formula which has improved the degree of tinnitis in about 50% of patients without any side effects. Be careful with intake of caffeine (coffee, tea, colas, mountain dew, etc) or CNS stimulants (i.e., sudafed, other decongestants found in common cold/sinus remedies) as this often worsens the degree of tinnitis by increasing the firing rate (spontaneous activity) of the nerve cells.
