As : As you can tell by the lack of a quick response there is no clear cut answer to your problem based on the information provided. It sounds like you have had all the appropriate evaluations and consultations that we would normally recommend in a case like this. If your blood studies are normal, as stated, then the chance that it is a blood / bone marrow cancer is low. I am curious, when you went to the sleep specialist did you get a sleep study done, or did they just do a review of you symptoms and physical exam? I would have tried to get a sleep study done in case there is something in your sleep patterns that prevent you from getting into the restful sleep stage (rem - stage iii). It may be that your pain is preventing you from getting into that critical stage of sleep. You also did not mention any medications that you are taking...One of these may be causing your insomnia.
