It is possible: Though most healthy fetuses will not be injured, falling may have indirectly affected a baby and pregnancy. A fall can lead to the placenta separating from the wall of the uterus or the bag of waters breaking. Also contractions might occur. Any woman who fell should call her OB or go to labor and delivery immediately for evaluation and extended monitoring.
