A : A "sore" in the vaginal area can be many things. A simple abscess(bacterial infection), a wart, cyst, herpes, syphilis, cancer, infected razor bump etc. It is so difficult to say without a more detailed history an physical exam. If it came on suddenly, it's probably a simple infection. See your doctor to be sure. Take care.

Agree with Dr. J: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you. An ulcer raises a suspicion for infection and it may need some tests. Get HPV vaccine.
