Are : Are these new symptoms since you got the cold? If so, you have at least a problem with your eustachian tube and may or may not have fluid within the middle ear space. Simple things to start on would be afrin nasal spray twice daily for 3-5 days max. During which time you periodically autoinsufflate (try to genly pop your ears with nose pinched). Otc sudafed (if not contraindicated with your underlying medical problems) could be used thereafter for any nasal congestion which indirectly affects eustachian tube function. If persistent several weeks after onset get it checked by an ENT to determine cause and consider audiometric testing.

See ENT ASAP: While your symptoms may suggest a common condition, e.g. Serous otitis media (fluid in the ear), there is a chance that it could be something more severe such as sudden hearing loss that would be best managed with prompt evaluation and treatment by your local ent.
