Usually : Usually you don't have to make a choice between decreased libido and having a healthy blood pressure. You would be amazed at how many people don't tell their doctors that their medicine is causing a change is sex drive or sexual performance. I recommend that you let your cardiologist know, as often a change in medication can be made. Sexual intimacy is very important in relatioships. See how your doctor can help. Take care.

Most : Most blood pressure medications do not tend to affect sex drive although they may affect erections. Erection problems can occur with certain classes of blood pressure medication but none of the newer drugs tends to lower sex drive or interest. Less is known about sexual function in women and the effect of BP meds. Many low cost blood pressure medications are available now. And weight loss and reducing sodium intake are non-drug approaches to lowering blood pressure.
