Yes : Yes if there are no other drugs that you are on that would interfere. One drink is okay with augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate).

A : A single drink per day should not interfere significantly with your antibiotic. You raise a good point. Patients should always discuss their alcohol use with their physician and/or pharmacist upon starting new medications. Alcohol, certain fruit juices, over the counter supplements, and naturopathic medications can all potentially interact or cause side effects with certain prescription medications.
