Flossing : Flossing should be supervised by a parent at that age. I suggest you do it first and then let him do it after you. Consider using a floss holder if he is not able to get the floss through his teeth by himself.

If : If the teeth are in contact with adjacent ones, flossing is indicated. Baby teeth usually have plenty of spacing. Consult your pediatric dentist for a more specific answer.
