There : There are different forms of "eye cancer." one could have a malignancy involving the eye surface or a cancer involing the inside of the ey (uveal melanoma). There are regional centers of excellence for the treatment of these rare conditions. If your eye doctor is up to speed, they should know your regions experts in this area. Often these individuals are associated with univeristies, but not always. While primary care specialists are tremendous resources when talking about your region's best systemic oncologists, I have found them not super helpful providing advice on where to go for "ocular oncology." therefore your best advice on where to go should come from an eye care professional.

Eye : Eye cancers are pretty rare, so it may be difficult to find someone nearby that is qualified. I would recommend contacting the department of ophthalmology at a large university medical center if your primary ophthalmologist cannot send you to someone.

Best : Best bet for ocular oncologist is a large university medical centers. Ocular oncology is a small field and they need the resources of the university setting to have the patients referred to them. Thus, they are rarely if ever in a private practice setting.
