Exploring: Children that age put almost everything in their mouths, as a way to explore their surroundings. They put dirt, rocks, toys and, yes, raw meat, in their mouths. They will put what they can reach into their mouths. That's why it is recommended that kids have no hard small objects (wheels on toy trucks, peanuts, etc.) available that they could inhale. Keep raw meat away from your daughter.
