Good Question!: Knowing the cause of the galactorrhea determines how the condition is treated. Often it can be a simple as medication change. Psychotherapeutic drugs and GI drugs are often the simple culprit. Once cause is determined, the prolactin levels can be measured while the symptoms abate.
