Many causes: You need an examination ASAP. There are Many causes for your symptoms & your problem depends on your history, medical condition, contact lens wear etc. An examination will help to diagnose & provide treatment. Infection, inflammation, internal ocular problems are considerations. If you notice much discharge, irrigate with an eye rinse & cleanse eyelashes with warm water. Artificial tears may help
