Is a back brace always required for scoliosis? i've been told i have scoliosis, but it isn't severe. will i need a back brace, or can mild scoliosis be treated in other ways?

Mild : Mild scoliosis is usually just monitored by the doctor. Back brace is not always needed. Some people have benefit from yoga. I would discuss this with your doctor and yoga instructor. Good luck!

No: Back braces are primarily used in the specific situation of a person with a 30-45 degree curvature with growth remaining. They are usually not used for more mild curves and have no benefit in a person who has completed their growth. Thank you for the question.
