Blepharitis : Blepharitis is usually not contagious. It simply means an inflammation of an eye lid often caused by a bacterial infection. For this reason, these patients are placed on antibiotic ointment or drops. Also a good hygiene is a key to treatment, patient should scrub the eye lid with wet wash cloth twice a day. However, in a severe case, if you should share the pillow or the towel, there is a small chance that you can catch it.
