Why is it important to find out if i have endometriosis early?

Fertility: Endometriosis can be a progressive disease. The longer it goes untreated, the more damage it can cause to the tubes and ovaries resulting in infertility. As endometriosis causes scaring it also leads to pelvic pain and painful intercourse.

Fertility: Fertility is the major reason. At 36 with significant endometriosis achieving pregnancy can be much harder. Outside of that there is no major reason you need to find out early other than it may help treatment if you are having a lot of pain.
