I : I can sense the frustration in your post. I am so sorry you are dealing with this problem. There is a bacterial dna vaginal culture your doctor can order. This will identify any bacteria that is present that may not be sensitive to the previous antibiotcs that were given. However this should be done only after a after a complete work up has been done, consisting of a standard include vaginal culture, std check, and a wet mount. Many women self diagnose, i hope this is not the case. Often times you may think it is one thing when in reality you are dealing with something completely different. Make sure this issue is being closely monitored by a doctor. As far as recurrent yeast infections go, this could be a sign of an immunodeficieny issue, and even diabetes. Your primary care should complete a full work up to rule these things out. Best of luck to you.
