Is it normal for phlegm to smell bad? i've been sick for the last couple weeks i've had a cold and really bad sinus to the point that i have a lot of phlegm. in the last two days i've been spitting and sneezing a lot of stinky phlegm. is this normal? and

It : It is common for the phlegm to have a bad smell. This is usually due to odor causing bacteria that are present, especially when one is dealing with sinusitis. Once the infection clears, the "stinky" phlegm will go away as well. Make sure you see your doctor. You will likely need at least a two week course of antibiotics. Take care.
