See your Eye MD: Unfortunately such a problem can only be diagnosed by an eye md upon seeing the problem and/or examining you to figure out the cause.

See an eye doc: Your description is a bit hard to make much of. Does the swelling go away when you get up? Other symptoms? You might want to see an eye doc to get this all straightened out.
