Yes: Influenza in pregnancy can cause more severe illnesses ( this was esp. Seen with h1n1/swine flu). Because of this tamiflu (oseltamivir) is recommended for treatment or prevention of suspected influenza in pregnancy. There are not clinical studies available for safety but the CDC does recommend it to decrease the risk of a pregnant woman becoming very ill.

Yes: Tamiflu (oseltamivir) is recommended if you get the flu and are pregnant or breastfeeding. Don't take it if you don't actually have the true flu, so see your doctor. It is actually used with newborns and kids. If you get the flu while breastfeeding, continue nursing to provide your baby antibodies against it. The baby is more likely to get sick if you quit giving baby fresh breastmilk.
