Hello. : Hello. I can't diagnose your symptoms. However you may have congestion causing your eustachian tube to dysfunction. The eustacian tube drains fluids and pressure from the inside of the ear into the throat. Too much congestion can create pressure against the tube, so that it shuts off. In your case, your tubes may only be partially closed off, so that that things like swallowing, opening your mouth or yawning may open it up. You can take oral decongestants for this and/or consider using a nasal spray like advil (not to be used more than twice a day for a maximum of 3 to 5 days).
