For your back??: As far as i know, ultrasound is not usually used to evaluate back pain. Back pain is not usually related to eating or drinking and this concerns me that it could be a pancreatitis problem, if by drinking you mean alcohol. An abdominal ultrasound can help evaluate the pancreas, but blood tests usually give a clue, and the definitive test would be an abdominal ct scan.
