Did my mother overdose on plavix (clopidogrel)? my mother who has alzheimer's, took a second dose of plavix (clopidogrel) , after having forgotten that i had already given her her meds.. she takes 75 mg of plavix (clopidogrel) a day and took 150 mg today

It : It is unlikely that she will have any ill effects after taking an additional dose. You should contact her doctor to see if they want you to skip the dose for the next day. But i don't suspect that she will have any problem from that. If she had any bleeding or bruising, notify your doctor.
