Hello, : Hello, normally a healthy baby can use air transport after 2 weeks of age. I did not find any literature that established a difference between when a child can fly by plane versus a helicopter. Most infant car seats are certified for air travel. The federal aviation administration recommends that infants ride in properly secured safety seats. I can't answer the last question which is if it is a safe for an infant to visit guatemala - i don't know the political situation there or if are about any medical alerts for that country.
