Weight : Weight gain is classified as "common". With that said; weight gain could be very minimal or could be substantial.

Side fx gabapentin: Sometimes gabapentin may promote weight gain, but it is not very common. The main side effect is drowsiness. Amitriptyline is much more often implicated in weight gain.
