Colored : Colored mucous does not always mean infection. Other symptoms of sinusitis include pressure and pain in the sinus areas around the eyes, plugged nose, cough, increase mucous, occasioally nosebleeds. The nose bleeds and mucous may not be related but can be. You could try saline nasal rinses to moisten the lining of the nose to help it heal. The rinse wil also thin the sectretions and help clear the mucous. If it persists or worsens after 10-14 days, go to a primary care doctor.
