Is it possible to inject the medication ambien by someone who abuses prescription medication and is an i v drug abuser? i have a relative who i believe is "cooking" and injecting ambien and need to know if this is possible to do with ambien.

Any drug can be: "cooked, " filtered and injected. The person then is not only getting the drug they are looking for, but talc, other fillers, coloring and preservative agents, all of which can cause problems in their lungs/livers, as well as the potential for serious infectious complications, including cellulitis, abscesses in skin, lung, brain and bone infection. Your relative is heading for a fall. Get help.
