It could: It depends on you and the dose, and your other medical conditions. Most doctors who prescribe opioids warn their patients not to drive, at least until they are fully aware of how the medication is effecting you. It may particularly be a problem if you take other meds with it, even over-the-counter antihistamines or other potentially sedating drugs. Talk to your doctor, and don't drive till you do.
