A : A healthy diet and exercise is crucial for the development of lean muscle mass as opposed to just packing on fat. Junk food without exercise is not a good way to add fat to your diet. Eating high calorie, but protein and nutrient rich foods containing healthy fats such as nut butters, cheese, avocados and nuts is a good way to start. Using olive oil is also a great way to add healthy fats to your diet. That being said, you may want to speak with your doctor first before making any drastic dietary or exercise changes.
