Not a concern: Unless this is associated with nailbed discoloration or pigmentation. In some instances, it may be an indication of vitamin deficiency such as vitamn b12, c, and d as well as hypothyroidism, anemia, iron deficiency or associated hypoxemic states with congenital heart disease.
