A member asked:

My 16 year old daughter is in quarantine in a small space (her room) and can't do as much exercise as she used too (i'm talking running about 6 miles a day), how much calories should she be consuming and should she be eating less carbs than before?

She should continue a healthy well balanced diet, including sources of lean protein, vitamins and minerals. Exercise equipment for her room may be helpful. If she is on quarantine at home, a separate bathroom and eating area are suggested. Time outdoors is fine, as long as social distancing and masks are used. Watch for signs of respiratory distress and please follow up.
