Takes time : Swelling after fat transfer and liposuction can take 6 months or more to really calm down. A lot of the improvement will happen by 3 months but you really don't know the true look for 6 months or even more.

Most swelling or edema goes down after the second month. In my experience it is also at 2 months that we have an excellent idea of how much fat will remain long term

BBL Swelling: Wearing your special compression garment for the first 2 weeks following Brazilian Butt lift surgery will help control swelling. There may be a small amount of swelling for up to 6 weeks and you should have a fairly good idea of your results after the first couple of months. Every case is uniquely different, so be sure to consult with the plastic surgeon who performed the procedure for specifics.
