You : You may be dealing with hormonal imbalance, infectious process, allergies, pain syndrome, etc. There are multiple causes, however the only way to find out is to have an evaluation done by your primary care provider. In the meantime try an anti-inflammatory medication like advil (ibuprofen) or Ibuprofen to help alleviate the pain and tenderness. Best of luck.
