How do i know if my iud is misplaced or falling out? i am in a lot of pain in my pelvic area. the end of the string to my iud has moved towards my uterus. there is now a circle like hole that i could slip my finger into.

The : The best thing to do in this situation is to visit your doctor for an iud check. Your doctor will put a speculum in your vagina and locate the iud. The string may be too long and the string needs to be cut so you wont feel it, or if it is misplaced then it will be removed and an appointment will have to be made to insert a new one if you choose.
