Different things: There is nothing called adrenal imbalance-there is adrenal insufficiency and usually diagnosed by measuring steroid levels of blood on baseline and stimulation.Tiredness has many causes one of which is adrenal insufficency.

See details: Fatigue has many causes, both physical and emotional. Adrenal function abnormalities are just what they imply. The adenral glands are under or over functioning.
